Digital Print, Direct Digital Print, Direct to Garment, DTG, are all interchangeable terms for the same process. Your design is printed directly on your shirt or product with an ink jet garment printer. These printers use inks that are specially formulated to be thin enough to use in an ink jet printer and durable enough to last through repeated launderings. One added benefit is that you get a soft hand finish that is virtually imperceptible to the touch.
Whether we print one color or thousands of colors it makes no difference to us…send us your wildest most colorful designs. However this printer does not have white ink (though some do). Because of the increased time, cost and failures of white ink printers we have chosen not to. This means that we need to print on white or light color shirts or products in order for the print to be visible.
We have no set up fees for our direct to garment printing so it is a viable option for full color designs. Many customers use this for fulfillment of small quantity orders where screen printing just isn’t practical.
There is no set up fee if you provide high quality artwork that can be scaled to print at the size requested. We can print from any type of art be it vector or raster. However if your design requires our artist's time to create or re-draw your design you may be billed accordingly. We will always discuss any required changes and get your approval before we proceed.
From start to layout approval is generally 1-2 days. Once approved please allow about 5 days for direct to garment production.
